Insulated Crimp-On Butt Splices
These butt splices are insulated to help prevent accidental short-circuits with nearby wires and protect the connection from other environmental hazards. Use butt splices to join two wires end-to-end, allowing you to extend, repair, or replace electrical connections.
Nylon insulation is more durable and chemically-resistant than vinyl insulation.
Double-crimp splices have a brass sleeve on the barrel that can be crimped to wire insulation to provide strain relief for the connection.
